July 2009: A scientifc publication for BIOMOD-3STM in Acta Radiologica.

The 3D reconstruction process of the BIOMODTM platform is described in a scientific article published in Acta Radiologica, Volume 50 Issue 6 2009.

This article shows that a subject's sway between successive spine radiographic exposures induces inaccuracy in the 2D/3D reconstructions, used in clinical practice.

The BIOMODTM technology allows to detect the patient’s sway between the two X-ray acquisitions and to correct it, in order to obtain a 2D/3D reconstruction equivalent to a CT-scan.
